Quebec is expanding its site I contribute to jobs in youth protection

In addition to helping the health network, the Je Contributor du Québec site will hire more people, including retirees, to help the province’s youth protection network.

The people recruited via the platform will obtain a job “linked to one of the different stages of the intervention process, but more precisely to the evaluation stage”, notes a statement to the Minister of Health in office Lionel Carmant.

Quebec says it wants to recruit professionals such as social workers, psychoeducators and criminologists.

The government adds that it wishes to hire “counselors or interns with current or previous experience in youth protection”, but is open to those with knowledge and no experience.

“Our caregivers are doing a remarkable job and it is time to give them more support in the context of a labor shortage and health crisis,” Carmant said. “The well-being of children is at the heart of this plan.”

Quebec has launched the platform I contribute to the start of the pandemic, Prime Minister François Legault calling on those who can to “enlist”.

In recent days, health authorities have indicated that they are seeking to hire more than 500 people for its COVID-19 vaccination campaign through the platform.
