Bailey O’Regan won the women’s 3,000 meter open water swimming race, Olivier Risk won the men’s event for Ontario and the provincial women’s box lacrosse team took gold with a 2 win. -1 against British Columbia.

Meanwhile, Quebec’s Julianne Sarrazin won the women’s mountain bike sprint, Zorak Paillé won the men’s event and the Quebec men’s soccer team handed Ontario a 3-0 loss in the final to the gold medal.

British Columbia defended its triathlon title in the mixed relay and added women’s softball gold with a 10-0 win over Quebec.

Ontario continues to hold first place in the medal standings with 84 overall and 37 gold medals, while British Columbia is second with 66 medals but third with 19 gold medals.

Alberta is third overall, adding four medals on Friday, with 61 overall and 22 gold medals, and Quebec was fourth, closing in on Alberta with seven medals on the day and 52 overall, including 15 Golden.
