Food For Thought to welcome singer and musician Scott Moreau

LEWISTON – L / A Senior College is expected to host Mainer Scott Moreau for a free Food For Thought Zoom presentation at 5 p.m. on Sunday, October 17.

Moreau was born at the old Bath Memorial Hospital, raised in Litchfield on Sand Pond, and graduated from Winthrop High School in 1997. He made his professional stage debut at the Maine State Music Theater in Brunswick in 1999 and has obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music. Illinois Theater at Wesleyan University in 2001.

Over a 22-year career, he has performed in over 300 US cities in 47 states, as well as in Tokyo, Osaka, Quebec, Toronto and Montreal. He is best known for his role as Johnny Cash on the Million Dollar Quartet’s First Nationwide Broadway Tour, a role he has performed over 1,000 times, including at the Maine State Theater, Merrill Auditorium, Cross Insurance Center. in Bangor and the regional premiere. at the Ogunquit Playhouse in 2015.

His original tributes to Johnny Cash were sold out from Las Vegas to New York. He recorded his tribute album, “Home Of The Blues”, at the Sun Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, in the same location as Cash, Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, Carl Perkins, Conway Twitty and Howlin Wolf.
