18 Quebec companies ready to sponsor 1,000 Ukrainian families

Families will have access to jobs, housing and food. The initiative also helps businesses meet their labor needs.

A Montreal businessman of Ukrainian origin announced on Tuesday that 18 Quebec companies will sponsor 1,000 families affected by the Russian invasion of Ukraine by offering them jobs, food and support while waiting for the situation to stabilize in their country.

Eric Boyko, president and co-founder of Stingray, said each of the companies is ready to welcome up to 80 families over the next few weeks and support them through the process.

Businesses will allow families to work and have access to housing and food. The initiative also helps businesses meet their labor needs.

Stingray is joined by Alimentation Couche-Tard, National Bank of Canada, Bombardier, Broccolini, CAE, Coveo, HELIOS Group, Intelcom, JPMA Global, KPMG, Novacap, Plusgrade, Pomerleau, Resolute Forest Products, Trans-Pro Logistics, SAJO and 5N More.
